When will GW:EotN go live? - Guild Wars Forums

Enjoyed the preview.

I couldn't find info when the expansion will go live. It will hit the stores this Friday (31st August), but when can we play? Does anyone know more?

While there has been no ANet announcement of exact time, in the past, the game goes live at 12:01am Pacific Time on the first retail purchase day.

In other words, as soon as you purchase it, you can play it.

Pre orders don't get an early start? I seem to remember getting that with one of the expansions.

it seems that some people already are able to buy the GW:EotN retail box. I can only buy it on the 31st of August according to the store. I am wondering though why there is difference on when we are able to buy the game.

So four more days....

ANet stated that we are able to keep our progress made during the preview event. Eg title track, weapons. We are not able to use the heroes/skills unlocked during the preview, but they will be available once we buy the game and when it goes live.
